Founded in 1973 by John Webber and Michael Lenihan, the practice quickly experienced growth within the public authority sector and gained an enviable reputation for delivery, value and reliability – building relationships which remain strong today.

In 2005 the practice merged with Vitec, which was founded in Cardiff in 1996 and renowned for providing services to the rail sector throughout the UK. The new practice became known as Vitec Webber Lenihan, more recently reverting simply to the name Vitec. During these times Vitec has continued with the same ethos – delivery, value and reliability – which has proved a good foundation for its growth, developing existing relationships and building new ones.
